About the author
Virginia Rabbitts grew up in Chipperfield, Hertfordshire, UK, and has spent more than 30 years supporting entrepreneurs, start-ups, inventors, and growing businesses whilst building and running her own successful companies.
A qualified Military Aerospace Engineer, Virginia worked for three of the world’s most respected engineering and technology organisations: Bell Canada, Rolls-Royce Aerospace, and General Electric (GE). During her career, she gained experience across Engineering, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Systems, Aircraft Accident Investigations and Financial Investigations, providing her with a unique understanding of how successful organisations operate.
As the founder and Managing Director of SnugglesTime Ltd, Virginia designed, patented, manufactured, and sold safety products through major retailers including Tesco, MOTO, ASDA, Walmart, Selfridges, B&Q and Legoland, exporting products internationally and building a recognised brand.
Virginia’s achievements have been recognised through numerous national and international awards. At the British Invention Show in London, she was awarded World Invention of the Year, Platinum Awards, Double Gold Medals, and other honours for innovation, design, and entrepreneurship.
Having advised and supported hundreds of entrepreneurs over the years, Virginia combines practical business experience with real-world knowledge gained from engineering, manufacturing, product development, sales, marketing, intellectual property, finance, and business growth.

From Factory Floor to CEO
Virginia’s experience extends far beyond theory and textbooks.
During her career at Rolls-Royce Aerospace, she worked across Engineering, Human Resources, Procurement, and Industrial Relations, giving her a unique understanding of how successful organisations operate from the factory floor to senior management.
Working directly with trade unions, management teams, and employees, she helped resolve workplace challenges, improve communication, support organisational change, and implement one of the UK’s earliest performance-related pay systems.
Her experience spans manufacturing operations, workforce management, procurement, quality systems, engineering, and organisational development within one of Britain’s most respected aerospace companies.
Years later, when Virginia returned to visit former colleagues, one familiar face jokingly remarked:
*”She used to run this place, and we were all scared of her. Thirty years later, she doesn’t look any different and we’re still scared of her!”*
Whilst said in good humour, the comment reflected the respect, leadership, and lasting impression she made on those she worked alongside.
